What's this site all about?
Well, take all the news, reviews, previews, features, release dates on all games on Gamecube - then strip them down to only the 1st, 2nd and 3rd parties specific to Nintendo, and add specific developer profiles, dedicated news, accurate news, and detailes summaries and info on the games made by these people, and you are left with: The Dolphin Team.

Since we are only focused on Nintendo-specific developers, you get much more dedicated info and details, because we wouldn't just say 'I'm not sure about that bit, so I'll just guess it or make it up', due to not-so-much info compared to complete Gamecube or Videogame sites. Expect detailed info on the developers and specific details such as the ExciteMeter. We will update the previews made by these developers as often as we can, because there won't be very many games to update compared to full Gamecube or Videogame sites. You can expect a much more dedicated feel to the game-related news and game coverage. For example, say you want info on a Rareware game. If you go to a videogame site, this is just one of the 100's or 1000's. Come to TheDolphinTeam, and this game is a crucial part of our site - that's the point of this site. Dedication.

The Dream Team II: The Dolphin Team
TheDreamTeam has the same meaning as our intended The Dolphin Team.
With the N64, a group of 2nd parties were brought up as the N64's prime team to create the best software for the console. This sounded good in text, but unfortunately didn't work out very well. This Dream Team worked out miserably, and in the end all fell apart and became unheard of. However, the strong and famous remain, and this time, Nintendo are seeking for the truly talented ones.
Below are the most important developers of The Dolphin Team. There are a few more, but are either generally unknown or not really related to Gamecube.
Check out their developer profiles as well!

Retro Studios does not have any N64 titles under their name, but they are a very exciting development house made up my hugely talented employees. Some of these include the president of Retro who is the ex-president and founder of Iguana Studios and a number of employees from ID Software and Valve. If they aren't talented, then why would Nintendo hand the responsibility of Metroid over to Retro?
